In order to keep it burning you have to constantly add little twigs. Breaking up a bunch of twigs can be tiresome, they cant be longer than 4-5" or you cant put anything on top. If you have the grille on top, with food on it and the twigs burn out, its nearly impossible to move the grille to add more twigs, there's not handle to grab it and since its all stainless it can be hot.
